Unleash Your Tongue

Source: Doggie Don't

Let's cut to the chase: when it comes to Mewing there's one game-changing solution you need to know about—getting your tongue tie released.

Tongue tie occurs when the lingual frenulum—the tissue connecting the underside of your tongue to the floor of your mouth—is too short, thick, or tight.

From a myofunctional perspective, tongue tie is public enemy number one when it comes to tongue dysfunction. If left unchecked, it wreaks havoc on everything from speech to chewing and swallowing, often leading to improper tongue posture and poor jaw development.

That's why surgical intervention isn't just a good idea; it's downright essential for some people who want to achieve good tongue posture.
